In this stage, we removed all panels and chassis sections identified for repair or replacement. After sandblasting, we uncovered extensive rust damage that had not been visible earlier. As a result, numerous rusted areas had to be cut out.
We then fabricated and welded in new metal sections, carefully restoring the structural integrity of the chassis. This process ensured the vehicle was returned to a solid and stable foundation, ready for the next phase of restoration.
