Round 1 of the GT Open in the books. A great start considering being new to the track for both Reece and Mikaeel. And a very demanding track at that with a lot of elevation changes and extremely challenging braking zones and completely blind corners. So for Reece to put it on P3 in his first Quali was very impressive with such little experience of the track and car. Further to that to seal a P7 and P5 Finish to put the Irish and South African pairing in P5 in the Championship after the first round is very positive start to the year.
Reece Commented; "I'm feeling very good in the car and really getting to terms with the specific techniques required to really get everything out of the Merc and can only see this getting better as the year goes on. It is very close out there though so staying out of trouble is going to be tough but a great start to the year and we will keep pushing forward to be better"
